Twitter Updates Automatic From Click & Pledge
Blacksburg, VA (November 20, 2009) -- Automatic Twitter messages may now be added as an option to any Click & Pledge donation or “check-out” form, the Company announced today. Twitter Auto-Post will broadcast a custom “Tweet” message to any organizations Twitter account.
“Twitter Auto-Post is about automatically keeping a fundraising campaign top-of-mind using the power of social networking tools. Now our customer base can easily add this aspect of automatic Twitter messages,” said Kami Razvan, chief executive officer of Click & Pledge. “It’s fast and easy to do and it continually creates a sense of donation buzz and participation around an organization’s efforts to raise money or promote an event or campaign,” Razvan said.
Twitter Auto-Post works by adding the organization’s Twitter account information to the Click & Pledge payment system of forms. Once added, each donation, registration or activity will trigger a custom message to the organization’s Twitter account and to the Click & Pledge Twitter account as an added layer of publicity.
Twitter Auto-Post reduces the amount of resources necessary to provide regular updates to create and continue dialogue with users. “This continual Twitter activity,” Razvan said, “keeps the constituency informed and involved. These tools are key in building community and networks.”
